Location: Essexville, MI./Saginaw Bay. | Half day trip. 9 walleyes, 5 keeps, 1 missed short of the net and 4 dinks. And 4 GIANT Sheepies. Large Pod's of BIG fish near the bottom and smaller ones above all along the Dumping grounds. But my timing with the Eastward floating weeds on this SW wind today, mad it impossible to keep anything down for more the 5 minutes on the dumping grounds without getting fouled and popping to the top. And what I call the August phenomena started today, or may have been going on since that big storm a week ago Friday. This phenomena has been going on for years now on the Bay. For some reason during a certain 1 to 2 week window in August, Dalmatian colored Tot's get hot. That's right, Dalmatian. White with Black Dots. I ran 2 today 90 back and they took 6 of the 9 walleyes no matter where they were on the tether line.
