Member Posts: 1991 | My sons have aquired a 4 man Elliot offshore life raft, they got it from there grandpa who got it from a Coast Gaurd Aux auction. Here is a link to it http://www.life-raft.com/product.asp?Product_Id=47583&d_id=11247&l1... Is there a market for this? It is in good shape, missing a few things I think? I will get a pic

Member Posts: 389 | That thing IS cool. But, I gotta tell ya Kirt....and, let me first say, I don't know how old your sons are... If they are too young to enjoy it now, keep it and let them enjoy it later. If my Grandpa gave ME something that cool, and my Dad decided to sell it...well...let's just say I wouldn't be a happy camper for a long while. By your own admission, it belongs to your sons. Don't sell it. Let them do with it what they want. If it becomes a fort in the backyard, so be it. They will be the envy of the neighborhood with a fort like that! If they trash it, so be it...that's what boys do. lol FWIW, Just my take on it....;) Juls
