DO THEY MAKE A GPS THAT CAN MOUNT ON THE DASH OF MY BOAT THAT IS STRICKLY A GPS? I HAVE A HAND HELD WITH A TON OF WAY POINTS BUT I'M LOOKING FOR SOMETHING THAT IS EASY TO USE AND I CAN PUT ALL OF MY WAY POINTS FROM MY HAND HELD ONE INTO A DASH MOUNTED ONE. IS THERE SUCH A THING OUT THERE? I LOOKED AT LOWRANCE AND SEVERAL OTHERS BUT MIGHT HAVE TO DIG DEEPER ON THE INTERNET WHEN TIME PERMITS.

MAN DO I FEEL STUPID. THERE'S ALL KINDS OF GPS'S OUT THERE I JUST DON'T UNDERSTAND THE TERMINOLIGY ON THE MODELS. I'LL HAVE TO DIG A LITTLE DEEPER ON THE INTERNET AND DO SOME HEAVY SEARCHING. I KNOW THAT LOWRANCE HAS TUTIORLS YOU CAN DOWN LOAD AND PLAY WITH IT BEFORE YOU BUY IT.

There's your answer: go to the Lowrance page and download one of the tutorials. They have multiple units that are for GPS only. Good luck.
