Anyone here own such a thing? I am referring to a cover that fits onto the trailer and connects to the front of the boat that is designed to protect the front end and trailer from rocks and other debris. Wanted to hear opinions on what to buy OR am I better off with a towtector or something like that? Thanks, there is always good info here!

This is what I use. I couldn't have been happier. Two bolts that tighten to your hitch receiver. That way, if you want to take the hitch off, just pull the pin and the whole thing comes off. This is the best one I've found.

The duster that merckid showed works well on a paved road for the occassional rock or debris. If you are on gravel roads, The products that mount to the trailer that are plastic and stop 100% of the rocks would be my choice. The guys from the dakotas all have them or there boats would be like sandpaper from all the dings and chips. I think they look good, I just dont need one where I fish. If you are in the gravel roads areas, dont hesitate.
