Hi Everyone,

After telling myself that the next boat I would get would be a dual console (to keep the wife dry, quiet and happy), I settled for a traditional single side console when I bought my Ranger 617. After looking at how the existing console is "attached" to the boat, I've come to the conclusion that it could be possible to add a passenger-side console, if it didn't cost more than a new boat to add one!

Have any of you ever done something like this to a "newer" boat? Were you happy/unhappy with the results? Do any of you think that this is something Ranger would supply and/or install for me? Would matching up to my boats color scheme prevent me from doing this in a cost-effective manner? I know I could just contact Ranger but I thought I would check with all of you. Needless to say, if it doesn't end up looking like original equipment, it isn't gonna happen.

Thanks!
Mark

I'd give Pamp's a call.

A day late and a dollar short... Pamps told me that Ranger doesn't make a port side console on year 2000 and older 617's.
