Subject: Petenwell FLW League Event


Guys,

I want to learn more about walleye fishing and was thinking of entering a few league events as a co to gain some knowlwdge. what type of fishing would one expect in the up coming league event on petenwell? Trolling,rigging, jigging?

Yup, all of that and more. Trolling can be expensive in the lumber (tree stumps) as well as jigging. Could end up pitching slip bobbers as well.

I've fished it several years and find it an exciting body of water. I'm just glad we're going back there a little later in the spring.

Check the posts on Walleye Central for a boater to improve your chances of getting into the event, or post here that your looking for a boater.

My guess is the majority of the field will be trolling the main lake. I would expect 80% or better to be trolling.
