Location: Stevens Point, WI | For the 24th consecutive year the Masters Walleye Circuit event in Spring Valley, IL host the unofficial kick-off of the 2010 professional walleye tournament season fielding 128 boats.
The Illinois River is not necessarily known for it's walleye fishing but rather it's stellar Sauger fishing and is one of the most popular Midwest fishing destinations.
Tonight at 7pm, the Illinois River was at observed value of 17.17 feet, down more than two feet from last week with a consistently reducing flow.
This weekend's weather looks to remain stable throughout the event. The forecast is predicted as is:
Saturday:
Overcast. High 54F. Winds SE at 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday:
Morning showers. Highs in the upper 50s and lows in the low 30s.
