The weather was rough and the bite mean for the final event in a weekend long 'total fishing experience', but eighteen teams toughed it out. Mother/Daughter Team Hausauer and Stilts won it with 12.76, and they also had big fish at 2.99#. See the results and event recap at http://worldwalleye.com/

Most of the teams had been on the fish before the blasting cold front came through yesterday.

The event was hosted by the World Walleye Association, and features a stellar sponsor listing. Every child attending the weigh in got a raffle ticket, and every single one left with a nice prize and an Off Shore Tackle frisbee.

This event is here to stay, and will grow rapidly into the future. A big thanks to Marianne Huskey for inviting us to shoot the tournament.
