Hey everyone,
I was wondering if anyone knew of good places to stay and rent boats for about a four day trip on the river. My buddies and I are planning a trip for near the end of May, and want to be near one of the locks, preferably #8 or around there. Any ideas for rental areas, lodging or camping sites?

I know Bass Camp by Lock & Dam 5(Winona MN I think) used to rent boats in addition to having a campground and a couple cabins but it has been a couple years since I was up there.

Back before i owned a nice boat i used to take my brothers 15 johnson, rent 1 of their boats an slam fish. there wasnt one boat that didnt leak but man they were lucky. Need to get back up their. 10 years ago it was really getin silted in.
