Location: Omro,Wi. |
Thats a tough question, color is very nice, and can help you pick fish out, also the more pixels, then the better seperation between bottom and fish.In very deep water the more pixels the better. It depends on whether you're in 50 feet or 500.Also not knowing the difference between the graphs you're looking at makes it tough to answer the guestion.Exactly how many pixels is between the two choices? If only a couple hundred, than color for sure...hafe
|

Location: Rockford MN | Give me color any day. Very easy to read. I have gone frome Paper to video to color video to standard high res. units now to the color units.I love the new Lowrance X-100 and the 104 they have great pictures and are very easy to read. All units need to be adjusted and played with, after you get the unit set-up right you will love the color. I just spent 2 weeks on the Il. river and loved the color units! I could see fish right tight to the bottom, plus the color helped figure the bottoms out much easier. Remember that you will need to play with the gain and the color at every body of water to get the most out of your unit. |
