Subject: recycle bin?

Where do deleted threads go, I saw an interesting thread earlier today that obviously got out of hand and had to be deleted I know some posts were deleted but now the whole thread is gone? I kind of like the idea of the recycle bin being only accessible to registered users and fully understand WF 's rights to leave up what they feel appropriate, although there are some reasonable people that make reasonable posts that are interesting thoughts. Is there anything wrong with moving these threads to the recyle bin where registered users would be able to comment and continue discussion? For that matter why not make all users registered! Heck it might really clean up the posts and increase activity! Just a thought!

Looks like I spoke too soon, I found it! and had I logged in I would be deleting the post, keep up the good work guys, I can tell that you have your hands full monitoring these things and maybe athe idea of a registered user only post would get rid of the riff raff?
Good Luck

No worries, Tyee.

We will never require registration here,as we fell strongly that anyone can visit, anyone can post, and anyone is welcome here. If any post, registered or not, violates permissions, it's deleted. Ifit's just argumentative and detrimental to the intent of our other message boards, but still interesting, it's moved to the recycle bin.
