Doing some house cleaning and came across my old King 8002 Loran C. Boy did that unit do me some wonders before GPS came on the scene. My questions is are these units now totally useless and disabled so I can throw away or can they still be utilized?

As far as I know, the ground stations are still "up"...

They still work, my friend's dad has one on his boat yet and still uses it.
