| I'm looking at simplifying my fishing. I have a few questions, i want the straight scoop.
If you own a tiller where do you live?
Who owns a tuffy 1890 tiller or 2060 tiller?
Pros vs Cons?
Will a 150 Optimax troll slow enough forward?
Is 90 horsepower enough for the 1890?
Thanks for the info. |

| Jeff Hanson runs an 1890 tiller with a 90hp Merc, pretty much on the water in Madison every day of the season.
i know he's been very happy with it.
give him a call or email, i'm sure he'd by willing to tell you about how it performs firsthand.

| I have the 2060 and fish it on lake Sakakawea in north dakota. The 2060 is a great big water boat, the 150 optimax will trol down to 2 to 2.2 mph forwaed and 1.4 to 1.6 reverse. The only con in a tiller boat is no windschlied for those crapy days, but boat controle, room and fishability more than make up for it. If your are like most guys you fish more than you drive and you cant catch fish with your boat on plane. The 2060 with the 150 will run in the mid 40s no mater what load is in it and you will not be disapointed in the boat. |

| I have a 2060 listed on the "boat for sale page". This is my fourth 20 foot tiller. I think that speaks for itself. I have a 140 Suzuki wich can troll down quite nice. The ride is simply awesome. I will be getting another one.
