I am looking for a place to fish from shore on Sat?
My son and I went up to Eureka the last 2 weekends and had a blast.
Even though we didnt catch any walleyes. That is a great place to
take a kid fishing. It seems that Eureka is over for the year????
Or is it????
Are there any other good/safe places to take a kid from shore?
We live in FDL and I dont mind driving some distance, but dont really
want to go all the way to Fremont.

Word has it the the channels are starting to produce some decent panfish action.

some of the channels are hard to find the shore fishings spots... so like van dyne creek, the channels off of bowen street in oshkosh etc, right?

also, I don't know if the shore fishing from Eureka is "over" it actually may start coming back on again this weekend.

The Waukau dam area is also a cool place to take a kid fishing. It is on the way to eureka. You can shore fish with bobbers for perch. It is just a cool place where my kids enjoyed getting muddy, running around and fishing
