The WTR941C would be perfect for using with a bottom bouncer. The tip is forgiving while it has plenty of backbone to set the hook. If you are looking for a rod that is a little shorter then the WBR813C would be your best choice. Good luck in your search.

Prairiedog, if you would like to hear from a Loomis himself, click on the Mack's lure link below and go to the message boards. Under general discussion, ask Bobby Loomis this question. He is our new sales manager at Mack's and used to help his uncle build the rods.
