The fishermen were limited to only 4 fish on the final day. Is this correct? Why?
I'm assuming that this was a DNR decision?
I found it strange that they could catch 5 fish for three days and then when there were only 10 boats left it was reduced to 4. What would the reasoning be? |

Got my question answered. Guess I'm a little slow this AM. They fished alone on day 4 so they had a one man limit. I didn't know that they had a 4 fish limit there. |

| Wasn't it just a few years ago they were advertising a 14 fish limit, and unlimited possession on Oahe? Had to do with the foarge base crashing? Looks like there is plenty of forage now, as the big fish looked very healthy! |

Location: Manitowoc, WI | Yes, the forage base is very healthy and this body of water contains a ton of healthy walleyes too. Unfortunately they didn't cooperate for us during the tourney.
The possession limit on Oahe is still either double or triple the daily bag limit, and the size minimum is still 14". Fishing out there this summer was great, as I had some friends who were out there just before Labor Day and they caught anywhere from 20-30 fish a day. |
