Im new to fishing the Miss is there some place where I can find out what pool is which? Say I want to fish the Gaysmill area what pool is that?

The pool number is designated by the L&D below it.

In other words, L&D 8 at Genoa impounds Pool 8, which is above it, so Pool 8 runs from L&D 8 at Genoa north to L&D 7 at Dresbach, MN.

The Corps Of Engineers Office in Lacresent,Mn has a very good river navigation map. There about $40. Shows pools . has phone # for lock & dams. Good luck Aaron Gays Mills
