Just got back from vermillion today. Tough bite last 4 days with 93 degrees and no clouds or wind. 90% of our walleyes came on crawlers on jigs or lindy rigs. During the day we were around merry go round reef fron 12-27 feet and would pick up a few. Can get a nice bacg of 9 inch perch there too to break up the slow walleye afternoon bite. Night bite was with the many other boats between the islands north of Taylor's island. Lots of fish on all sides of that island. Lots of big sunnies caught on same walleye rigs. Minnows did nothing. With minimal wind using bow mount to move boat around. people did catch a lot of bass but we did not fish them. Caught 10-12 fish per day was all with many being over the 17 inch slot. many actually were at 17.5.
