I was at camp randall a couple of times in late 80's. Such a great place to watch football. I rememeber when all the southsides were crying when alvarez left notre dame to go to wisco We watch a lot of wisconsin football growing up. Lots of kids from my area (Catholic League South, Chicago, IL), went to Illinois and Wisconsin. The better ones went to Iowa, with the tops to programs like Notre Dame (john Foley), and Nebraska. You can always count on a kid from the chicago area to play on the wisco team. And this year the top guy was the quarterback of Wisconsin. He played a heckuva game. Clay ran like crazy. And white, wow really small, but powerful. #99 had a very nice game on defense. Iowa is next and thats gonna be a tough one. MS smoked Illinois. I wanna get on the list Shep and Denny are putting together for the rose bowl! HA!

The team that showed up was the team we were all hoping for but didn't show themselves until last night. Kind of shows you just how good Michigan State is. I hope they (Michigan State) moves up high and fast into the ranking system. I'll guess that Wisconsin moves to the top ten for awhile. Last night could have been their defining moment for a great bowl game selection this year. Had 2 daughters at the game last night. They came home late last night after the "party" downtown. Made me realize how old I was and the great memories of years past when I was that guy downtown drinking and celebrating the wins. Oh well, it was fun to watch in the comfort of my easy chair. Location: Rhinelander | I was listening to the game after watching the first half while uploading MWC content at a Wi Fi hot spot, and couldn't find a radio station carrying the game RIGhT after Ohio scored and got within 3. Wish I could have heard the rest of the game.
