| was out trolling and all of a sudden it would blink and barely read a fine line for bottom and not mark any fish or anything. the depth numbers would blink on and off. would mark like that for a few minutes and then blink, it would start marking normal again but only for a few minutes then blink again. then today it was marking wrong the whole day. tried reset defaults and nothing. it's like the sencitivity when out. we had it running before all this in the garage for about 10 min. looking at lake maps and i think it screwed up the transducer over concrete. any thoughts? |

Location: Waukesha Wisconsin | Check your connections. Sounds like a bad transducer to me. |

| humminbird just told me they are sending me a transducer for no charge and hope that it is the problem. now that is awsome service. |

| did you ever figure this out,I was having probs with my 788c going blank on me here and there and the marina traced it down to a loose fuse. |

| humminbird sent me a new trans. with no charge and it has worked great ever since. awsome unit. works better now than even when i first got it. |
