A 27yr old Gladstone man went in.They found him the following day.Be careful out there.Even the locals can get into trouble. The colder temps for the coming week should help things out.Until then be safe.

Risor, you Rascle.

You aint doing this because I'm leaving in 4 hours for LBDN are you? If I don't sign back in Monday morning with a report and some pictures, tell the wife I have another boat she don't know about out at Lindys Marina will ya? I'd do so over the phone though, she can rally kick good and hard.

He was in the area by the coal piles just south of kipling. Another area to watch is the deep hole on the east side.

Most of the ice out there is in great shape. The upper bay that is. After next week we should be home free.

Careful and good luck.

Dave,
Is the ice better up there now? Marty was supposed to call with a report, but I ended up in Chicago so he might have missed me.

Dave.

Going to echo Steve statement. Saturday I was taking it easy running out from Vagabond resort when I was passed by a full size 3/4 ton Dodge Pickup. Drilled holes 1 mile out and had 14 inches of ice. And she was cracking all day long making more. seen a S-10 blazer at least another mile farther out than us running around. But I'd also will say there are always sections that freeze last and should be approached more crefully than others.
