Location: Rhinelander | 50 teams will hit the water tomorrow at 7 AM on Ottertail Lake looking for a C&R total big enough to win a brand new Lund Boat or one of many other prizes. Coupled with several other activities in town like a pedal boat race, the Lund Mania event draws as many as 1500 fans and participants to the final tomorrow evening. Stand by for coverage of the tournament from tomorrow AM through the final at about 6 PM tomorrow evening! Location: Rhinelander | 50 teams and their live release spotters headed out on to Ottertail today at 7 AM under clear skies, easy winds, and cool temps. Most of the teams we talked to predicted it would take over 20# to take the win worth over $22,000.00. The teams will check in at 2 PM at Beach Bums in Battle Lake.

Location: Rhinelander | Bob Schlieman and Shawn Nygaard took the win and a new Lund Impact powered by a Mercury outboard valued at $22,000.00 at the Lund Mania tournament on Ottertail Lake today. It took just over 19 pounds for the win. 16.66 was the total for Koehler and Koehler, who took home a boat, motor, and trailer package worth over $6000.00. Third was taken by Woodward and Woodward, forth by Gronewold and Maczowicz, and rounding out the top five was Gaudette and Bergstrom. This is a very well run event, and appeared to be a blast for the anglers. The Lund Boat pedal races were a hoot for sure. The entire community turned out, and a number of other activities will run late into the night.
