Much of central Wisconsin took it on the chin yesterday and today with a heavy rain and wind pounding on and melting snow cover as deep as 30". Day before yesterday, I had about 20" in my front yard, and it is totally gone except for a few patches today. Thank goodness for my sumps. One good thing about this is the lakes in the area were pretty low. I bet they won't be now!

Some of Antigo, WI, just a half hour south of here, was under water.

I am very happy to see Spring, but WHOA!!

waters running down the Wisconsin River just down the road from us here in Lake Tomahawk was moving right along the past 2 days. I imagine they had the gates open a bit by the Rainbow Flowage. Your right some grass is visible in our backyard today and the sun popped out for about an hour this afternoon, now a good feeling and time to getting on that open water! Capt. Marty

I'm glad that it's heading down the Wisconsin River watershed. I'll be fishing north of where it dumps into The Mississippi River. I have off for ten days around Easter. I hope the floods can hold off til after then.

The evening news in Chicago had video clips of lots or water rolling thru and around houses, from the Northern Wisconsin area. Hope you guys do not get too much damage and your fishing from the boats, and not the living room couch, real soon. WM
