Just a quick note to thank all of you for your thoughts and prayers during what was a very difficult period. My father had a relatively short time of being limited to a hospital bed and passed quietly on July 11th at home. The wonderfully cooler then normal temperatures and helpful kind people from the home hospice allowed him to stay there. Although the decision to move him to a hospice facility was at hand along with the up-coming humid weather, (because of no AC in his home and declining health), my father went to sleep on Saturday evening, woke for a bit on Sunday morning and went back to sleep, finally succumbing to the cancer at 1:40 that afternoon. I feel that the thoughts and prayers of so many are what helped and I thank you.

Doc,
My thoughts are with you and your family. Your father has been rescued from that dreadful disease. I hope the memories you hold of your father will bring a smile to your face and warmth to your heart as years go on.
Take care,
Jim O
