Member Posts: 200 Location: Lake City MN | Fished the upper end of the pool on Sunday afternoon and had a great time. Caught good numbers of walleyes in the 17 to 24 inch range. As has been the case for the past month or so most of our fish came pulling plastics real slow in 12 to 16 ft of water. Man there is a nice year class of fish comming through right now, should make for a great season. Good luck to all. Loren Waalkens http://www.walleyefirst.com/waalkens

Fishing has been great this week. Ring worms and minnows have been producing some nice fish. Towards evening try casting some ring worms along the rip rap at the dam. Eric Eichorn Ikes Bait and Tackle Red Wing, MN (651)388-2111

Member Posts: 22 Location: Red Wing MN | Fishing near the head of the lake has not been to bad lately. I have been out a few times in the past two weeks and with the water coming up and down everything is differnt for me day to day. Pitching glow nuckle balls and ring worms have been putting most fish in the boat, with dragging Zone-R's following right behind. Im dragging with ringies too. The best colors for me have been ..well anything brite! Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]()
