| Is anyone out there running a 150 Yamaha 4 stroke or Honda on a Lund Pro-V 1775 or similar sized aluminum boat? What do you really get for top speed on the GPS? |

| On yamaha's website they have boat tests that show the pefromance of each and every motor they make on many different styles of boats, so go and check that out. If not a lund i'm sure they have tested a G3 very similar in size and weight. Hope this helps! |

| Thanks Slipknot, I've already been there. I just wanted to see if anyone was running either of these motors on a 1775. Before I lay out the cash, I'd like to see what they "really" get for speed. Thanks again |

| I run a 2005 Mr Pike 17 which is just a little lighter than the Pro-V 1775 but I have a 115 Yamaha 4 Stk. and I get about 41.2 - 42 mph depending on the wind and elements. Thats with a 13 1/4 by 17 aluminum prop...I dont know if this will help. But it might get you in the ball park! |

| Gave test rides last fall with an 18' Pro-V. Did not have a GPS for speed on the boat, but power was smooth and steady, trimmed out nice and clean and ran as fast as I needed with two adult guests and a teenage kid aboard.
It seems like an ideal setup for the average boater. Don't expect to blow anyone else out of the water with it, but performance was above average. And you gotta love the lack of noise and gas mileage.
Test one your self before you commit. |
