I know you have posted this before but I've come up empty after numerous searches on here and using his name and West Allis (I was able to glean this info from a search but not his number) in a telephone directory search. My Minn Kota keeps doing the Linda Blair thing on 4 out of 5 trips. Once in a while it behaves great but most of the time the head just spins around. A while back I sent the PDF on how to adjust the gyro yourself, to you. I'm assuming that you were not successful or did you take it in due to time constraints? My reason for asking is that I have ascertained form this board that you are more technologically advanced than I am and therefore will not attempt myself if you were not successful. My wife is right, I do ramble on. Thanks!!

I would not assume its the gyro rather a connection issue......a foot pedal with corrision contacts or the connector its self. Find a friend who has the same unit and swap foot pedals first then call minnakota and talk to service or look at there website and get your local repair dealers number and call them and talk to them.

Thank you!!! The thread I referenced had his name wrong. No wonder I couldn't find it.

Thanks, Doug. Sorry I didn't get back, as I'm swamped with work here in the Motor City. Ed is the best.
