Location: Wisconsin		how are the st. croix premier spinning reels? i saw them on the cabelas website for $50 and thought they might be good

They are made by Diawa, they closing out the Premier Line of reels.

I looked at they have a nice feel

They suck!!! I used three different ones in a tournament in SD with a pro and never fished a worse reel. As far as thier rods go-top of the line. I own six of them and love all of them. Wouldn't give you a dime for one of the reels though!
