| water temps in the marshes on the fox and wolf hit 50+ for 3 days and the fish dropped there eggs .. now what happens when the temps are 38 for a couple weeks . ? is this ok for the hatch this year? kinda worried about our lil babeyes. |

Location: Freedom, WI | I asked Kendall that same question last week, he said they just take longer to hatch. So if the water level stays up we could see another good spawn. |

| They can incubate for a while but not sure how long. I recall the same thing happening in the early 90's when there was actually Ice on all the backwaters for three days straight but then it warmed up and the hatch turned out great.
My guess is it needs to warm up soon. Its been cold now for 10 days since some of those fish have spawned. Just my opinion...... |

Location: Green Bay, WI | If you have seen Kendal's "State of the System" presentation and the number of fish that are in the system, I'm less worried about the spawn and more worried about exotics getting into the system.  |
