Location: Chicago IL. | Are the ramps open? Have not been there in years. Might be time for a road trip. |

I'll check if I can get down that way tomorrow. There's been boats on the river for a while now, so I'm assuming they're open. Last I heard water temps were at around 34 if that helps.

Checked at the VFW ramp this afternoon on the way home. It's all open. There were only about 8 truck/trailer combos parked there and I didn't see hardly any boats up by the dam. Doesn't seem to be much going on right now. Last I heard surface temps were still at about 34 so pretty cold yet.
Hope this helps.

| John, there are not walleyes up near the Prairie du Sac dam. Just stay away from that river system! Ha Ha. I was actuallly thinking about heading down there this weekend. Get away from Pool 9 and 8 this weekend. All those crazy WAT anglers prefishing this weekend. Can't fish this year. Got a Confirmation on the weekend of the first tourney and then going through the bid D so don't have the time this spring. Will fish the La Crosse tourney though! Good luck if you fishing the trail this year!
