| Earlier this year there was a discussion on the best place to find insurance for boats. I have a 24' pontoon, a 17' Alumacraft, and a 19' Champion walleye boat. Can someone pass on the name(s) of companies that would cover these boats?
Thanks in advance.

| more than likely it would be cheapest from whoever has your homeowners insurance, unless they dont cover that. |

| I've got my boat and ATV insurance with Progressive. Sentry(My Homeowners) couldn't come close on price or coverage. |

| I have mine under my homeowners through General Causualty, however, my rates about doubled when I put the boat on it. When I did it I checked it out and I was still better off going this way than to take out a separate policy on the boat.
Hope this helps. |

| Remember the best coverage is not always the cheapest coverage. You should be able to find some good coverage, reasonable cost with some of the companies mentioned. You can get better coverage with a seperate policy just call your local independent agent and have them give you all the options. Good luck... |
