Anyone else heading out on the ice walleye fishing over the holidays? I am going to fish Minoqua with my son Brian, and maybe a couple other lakes with my youngest son,Keith.

Where are you fishing over the holidays?

Heading up to Mille Lacs Friday thru Tuesday. Targeting perch mostly, and hoping for a walleye. They are going to be few and far apart this year on the pond, TOO MUCH FOOD! The bottom of the lake is just covered with small (2-6" ) perch. The up side is this will probably be the best perch fishing we have had in many years.

Merry Christmas Everyone!!

No ice fishing for this boy. I'll be in the boat for part of the holidays. The 26th and 27th I'll be with Shep muskie fishing on Shelbyville.

Dec. 31st to Jan. 3rd I'll be at Red Wing. What a great vacation!

If anyone is around and see a black Lund at Red Wing, stop and say Hi!

Making plans for LBDN tomorrow. If it works out, will have a report as to how well it went.

I have been on Minocqua the past few days. The evening bite is best, 16 to 19 fow. Leaving shortly and should be up there within the next couple of hours.
