Well I thought I would get this up before Rick.Well the day started out with the minnows spilling in the bed of my truck on the way out. Then we set up about 2 miles off ceape st.And our companion for the day was BigDaddy(Bill)who managed to put a nice perch on the ice. This was after I had one on the ice.As for Rick, well I just can't get this guy to get one on the ice.He did have a few flags on his tip-ups but, there are now 5 of us who Rick has NOT caught a fish with.We moved about 4 or 5 times and did get to see a few eyes and a sturgeon on the camera which was real cool to see. This was BigDaddy's first time ice fishing and he wanted to see how it was done.Bill this is NOT how it should be done.LOL.Anyhow I hope we were able to show you a few things. And get you on your way to an enjoyable sport. And Rick here is what my philosophy is about getting skunked. That it is one day closer to getting a good day of catching. And I hope I'm with you when this happens. Thanks for coming out and we will have to do it again.Bill get the checkbook out and have a ball.

Yes Rick, just can't figure out whats wrong with all you guys.

Was a great fishing day anyway and did muchly enjoy showing bigeyeguy some stuff. Think he really wowed out on that camera of yours, and will not be surprised should he buy one. Can still visualize that perch grabbing his bait and his very fast reaction!

I'm game for more and we will both catch some fish together soon.

Sorry I didn't respond to your posts earlier but I was looking at the wrong board ( general discussion). Yep I did have a great day on the ice with you and Risor even tho I had to have hamburger for supper. I want to thank you guys for putting up with me for a whole day and say that you pursue a great sport. Lets do it again.

Ok big guy. Maybe this week. Next trip we can fish my way, instead of risor's. Just set the tip-ups and watch them from the truck!
