Just wanted to let you guys and Gals know that 50 boats successfully launched from the docks here at Fort Fremont at 630 am saturday. Spirits were high as the field departed for the 4th annual tournament. Weigh ins will start at 130 pm. Come on down and check out the baskets from the river only tournament. Lets see how they stack up against the pro's. We are located 2 miles south of fremont on the old 110, its now called cty. rd. II. Thanks.

So, after the smoke cleared, there was one team standing. Aaron Crist and Chris Akey of Weyauawega, was the last boat to weigh. They were up against the leading weight of 9.10# to take the win. With 5 fish in the basket and a standing room only crowd, they climbed the stairs to take their place on stage. The weigh master, Steve Poll from the WWA took the full basket of fish from them and placed it on the scale. The crowd hushed as the weight came up, 9.23#'s and the win. What a finish it was. With 114 fish over 14" brought to the scales it was a exiciting day to be in attendance. We would like to thank The Auto Gazette, World Walleye assoc, Mercury Marine, The Webfooters ski team for the food they had on site, Warrior Boats and Chris and Gina Gasser, the MC'S. With out there support we would never had been able to pull off the show we did. And thanks to all the fisherman that participated. The final results and pictures will be on our website, www.fortfremontmarine.com under the pure fishing link in about a week.
