I wouldn't touch a patriot boat! Their in the middle of a court battle,I hear you can't run them on Wisconsin waters because they don't pass US coast guard standards.I would put a few extra life jackets under my seats to keep her afloat.

The 2050 DC has a flotation and horsepower tag recall. The 2050 tiller won't have any horsepower issues, but should be checked for adequate flotation foam prior to using or purchasing. Beyond those issues I have ridden in one and it was a pretty nice boat.

My partner has one, 2050 tiller. It is a very nice ride and a ton of room to mover about. After the issue of the floation is answered with the 2050 tiller and if it checks out, I wouldn't hesitate on this boat. This rig is outfitted with a 125 and scoots along pretty well.

Is this boat on Hwy 76 just north of 41, at a mini storage? Looks to be in nice shape, and clean. If this baot had the flotation in it, I would think it would be ok to go. No HP taag issue on the tiller. Check it out. Price seems very reasonable with the trailer.
