| The best suggestion I have for pool 9 right now is to get off the main river channel and into the back cuts. Pull cranks through enough sloughs and you will get the fish. |

Location: Green Bay, WI | What does a slough have to have to hold fish, current or depth?
Does it matter if you pull against or with the current?
Would you suggest long lining or using boards?
What style of cranks (stick baits, shad style or rattle trap style)?
Thanks |

No need for boards, have a couple of leadcore rods rigged and a couple of fireline rods. All kinds of diving cranks works, all variations of Shad Raps sizes 5-9, thery are a good starting point. Pulling up and down current both work, drag those cranks through holes, snad flats next to holes, wood in the spot is all the better, just make sure your on the bottom. |

I fish this pool alot and have had the best luck using a pearl colored plastic shad. I also use alot of purple twisters with the tail removed with a minnow tipped on it. Don't give up they are there. |
