Subject: Fishing license

I was just wondering if a michigan fishing license is required to fish bay de noc. I've never fished up there but was thinking of trying it next weekend while the rest of the state is deer hunting. Some tell me it's considered boundry waters so it's not needed but I thought I would check with you guys first before I make an assumption I may regret. I love this site for the willingness of fellow fisherman to share some info with others. Nobody likes to give the honey hole away but from what I can tell some good info is being exchanged. Any help to get started would be awesome. Keep up the good work boys you have a great site.

Risor,
We don't have a problem with linking to another site to share information, unlike the folks from the mentioned web property. They will delete any mention of an OutdoorsFIRST website immediately, because....actually, I have no idea why.

From one of the sites they host:

'I own this web site, but I do not own this Fishing Reports Board. My Web Master, Outdoor Network, does. It is kind of like owning a condo. You may own your space, but you do not own the building.
There are certain rules that I must abide by. For instance, I cannot allow unauthorized advertising, nor links that will lead people to other discussion boards, unless the the person putting the "advertisement" up is someone who is already advertising with my Web Master, or any link that directs people to another message board is a board owned by my Web Master.
This Fishing Reports Boards is just a small part of a larger network. Outdoor Network employs a person to montior the activity on these boards. There are many posts that are deleted, not by me or my moderators, but by the company that owns the full board.
I like this arrangement. That is one of the reasons that our board is "clean" and stays clean.
I am not just writing this for yur benefit Dave, I have had other people who have questioned why I have pulled seemingly harmless posts. I just don't think eveyone understands how the board works.'

Whatever it takes, I guess!
