| Spent the better part of the day on the river sunday with fellow WF'er Brad. Kinda slow, we got a few walleyes and a kitty cat. Catching wasn't important, felt good to be back in a boat. Oh yeah, did catch a bit of sun out there too. |

It seems like the water was pretty similar to last year. It may be a bit higher, but there's not a ton of current. See you on the water and at the rules meeting.

Location: in the boat off the east shore somewhere | made the trip wed (yesterday) boat in the water at dawn.. in 6 hours we caught approx 35 fish.. 7 keepers one over the slot .. 3 were just under the 20 inch slot. water seems a bit stinky and not sure if it will affect the flavor .. a good day on the water... water low.. not much current.. so most would know where to find the fish.. easy pickens. sounds like a couple doors on the dam will be opened up this weekend .. water temp was 36 in the morning and 37 by 1 pm... i would say 4 fish were females of age 3 found out of reach of the smaller males... im thinkin its all gonna happen fast this year.. 3 or 4 degree increase in water temp the eggs will be dropped and it will be all over quick/// but hey what do i know... good fishing |
