| Does anyone have any experiance fishing the Mississippi at Rock Island. My daughter lives there and has asked me to come up with the boat to take her fishing on the Mississippi. I know nothing about the river in that area or the fishing for that matter. I appreciate any info shared.

Location: Orland Park, IL | Ahh, yes the mississippi river. FLW League championship is there. Word has been passed along to "mum's" the word on any spots fished during the last few visits to that pool. I personally think thats crap, as I have fished those pools for some time. Just didnt think someone would "request". They are all community holes anyway. I mean how many secret spots are left?? |

| For the inexperienced on that particular body of water there are a lot of secrect spots.  |

| The best fishing for numbers of eyes and size is on pool 14 the second one above Rock Island. Fish your typical summer river spots, you are better to launch up there rather then lock through. Hope that helps! |
