| How big is the livewell in the 1860 Angler by Ranger? Is the door just small or is the the whole livewell smaller in these boats compared to the Fisherman series? Also is the storage large enough to get rid of all of a guys walleye tackle? Or do I have to go back to a tackle bag? Im just looking is all...kind of curious! |

Location: Rhinelander | I went to the Ranger website and looked over that rig. Can't find anything as to livewell size. Give Heckels Eagle River Marine a call in Eagle River; 715.479.4471. they will get that info for you right away. |

Location: Lincolnshire, IL | Went and took some quick rough measurements. 48" Long x 11" Wide by 11" Deep to the top of the overflow.....The top opening of the Livewell is 20" long by 9" wide. Plenty of livewell space. Wade
As far as storage space, you will have to determine that dependent on your amount of gear and needs. As I fish more I take less gear with me...cuts down on my options LOL! I find the storage space on the 1860 Angler to be more than adequate.

| Thanks Wade!
The thing I was wondering was I have all of my tackle trays in my boat now, and found that it works great not to have a big tackle bag in the boat with ya. And my question about the livewell was just to make sure that the livewell was bigger than the door on it, because in the Ranger book, it was very unclear to me, and I couldnt find any dimensions or even a gallon amount. But thanks for your time.
