We are rigging a 2008 tuffy 2060dw with a 250 suzuki and are planning on using a powered jackplate 6" setback. was wondering if anyone had similar set up-- how fast, and how about ride quality?

Fisherman Zach, I have just received a response from an owner with a 225 opti on jackplate. He says it runs a little faster. Would definitly like to talk to someone with a 250 prefer suzuki, but any brand would give me a starting point to see on speeds/handling

i ran a 2060dw for 6 weeks while my 2060 tiller was getting made. we had a f250 yamaha with no jakeplate, the speed was 54mph. we tried diferent props, engine hight with no big change. the ride was smooth and dry but had the problem of the boat leaning to the left side.the speed was perty consistant with one or four pasengers. hope this helps

My 2060 has a 250 Verado with no jackplate. Works perfect with a 24" 4-blade prop. Top end is 63-69 mph depending on load.
