| I have got these behemeth 9'6 for leadcoring. Not bad, but some lumber. I use the 5 foot peregrine shorties off the corners when running 5's and 7's shad raps. I was hoping to use my 8'6 planer board rods for leadcoring. Medium action, nice tip. With the 5 foot fireline leader, fairly sensitive.
The problem may be losing that 1 foot spread (which is nice on those turns) and whether the Gander Mtn series has the backbone for core. |

| No problem...good rods, they'll work just fine. I use them for core. |

Location: DeForest, WI | I wish you could find a 10' rod like the Peregrine.
I have two of the 5' and would like 2 10'

| If you like the 10' Pereguine. go take a look at the Scheels 10'6" leadcore rod in MH. I htink you'll like it....perhaps even more. All graphite and you can even read the wobble of a shadrap on 'em. |

Location: Orland Park, IL | Jayman, nice tip. 10'6 wow, now thats some way out there stuff. I remember fishing red wing last year. The pro busted out "big bertha". 16.5 feet of leadcore stick. Home made. Wicked rod. |
