With all the new lines available today I'm a bit puzzled as to what would be the best choice for lindy/split shot rigging for both walleye and perch? I'll probably go with 6# test but need very good abrasion resistance & limpness & small diameter all in one line. Last year I spooled a Berkley product tournement select ? and was quite happy with it but I,m hopeing for suggestions for any other lines that fit my needs. Thanks in advance & a good season to all !

Member Posts: 150 Location: mille lacs, mn. | I've used Silver Thread An-40 for years and feel it is stronger per the label than most and never gets old. I just ordered a 3000yd. spool from Cabella's this week. (no I don't get "free". I pay retail for it!lol) I use the green.

I love their ultimate line and also their flourocarbon line. These guys are the biggest selling line in the south half of the USA and are now making their way to us in the midwest. Check them out, you will not be dissapointed.

Suffix came out with a new line for spinning reels called Tritanium. This is the toughest stuff I have used. I've been using the 4 pound test all spring for walleyes and it rocks. I've pulled up many a tree branch with it fishing the mississippi. It's the toughest I've used. Liner
