| How big a boat? Launch in Fremont should be fine but I can tell you that the launch in New London is a little low but usable. Look out for rock piles near dock ends!!! Keep your motor trimmed until you get to deeper water 50 yards or so away from the launch. There have been walleyes biting around Fremont and I caught a few near New London on Saturday. Also caught sheephead, catfish, small mouth, rock bass and a sucker. |

| Picked up one walleye on Sunday in a couple hours of fishing. Way too nice out so this one suprised me a bit. Things should pick as the weather cools and water levels rise a bit. One thing this year is the beautiful weather is better to fish in rather than sit in my tree stand or in the duck marsh, so far. |

| I've got a link to the local water level guage on my website at http://www.wolfrivercountry.com/outdoors
We are still well below the average for this time of year but the rain we have been getting and is forecast should continue to improve conditions for a productive fall.... I hope. |
