It is with great regret that I have made the call to cancel this event. Due to the weather conditions that I have been observing for the past two days, it seems very unlikely that we will be able to safely fish. I have teams that were only going to travel to fish in my tournament and I did not want to leave them hanging on, just to have it cancelled on Sunday. I would like to THANK all of you who fished with us and also, those of you who tried to fish with us. Your support was greatly appreciated. We will be announcing next years' schedule very shortly. We hope that you will come and fish with us. 100% refunds and credits made to credit cards will be refunded promptly. Have a great and safe winter, Yours in Fishing, Gary "Bo" Bowman, Executive Director, Great Lakes Walleye Classic (www.greatlakeswalleyeclassic.com)

Bo.

A very gracious and smart call. Its better to error on the side of good judgment, than leave more people with the memory of disappointment or wasted travel money when it comes to your tourney. And I like the credit card idea versus the money out of the immediate pocket. That to makes it nicer in the face of cancellation. Now, how about transferring this 10 grand on top of next years Saginaw Bay tourney payout? Do that, and I'll send you my CC numbers right now for next year, no matter what the fish dates.

Thanks, Capn' Dan, You know, we've been there with the rough stuff. It's no fun, at all, for anyone. Safety is our #1 concern. As far as next year, how would you like a shoot-out with the gaurantee of $15,000 for 1st? Would that get you interested? Take care, My Friend, Cheers, Bo

Just keep me posted on the Saginaw Bay fish dates next year, so I don't schedule any charters for that weekend. Keep the faith.

Capn', By the way, I'll be calling you this winter and setting up a test drive in a NEW jet boat that is being designed specifically for ice fishing. You'll love it. The faith hasn't changed. Cheers, Bo

Bo.

You must mean "Air Boat". Jets still need liquid water as their propellent.

Yeah, Capn' Dan, That's what I mean. Brain fart this morning. Sorry! It's something new that Bob Hanko (Cranberry Creek Marine) is developing. It's really slick. It's right up your ally. Talk to you soon, Bo
