New User Posts: 2 Location: NW Iowa | Hey Guys, Just joined the board, seems like a good one! We are looking at buying a little bigger boat and seem to find a lot of Lund Pro V 1800 or 1775's out there. They are mostly single or double counsels. Did they make them with windshields? Do they make windshield kits that you could install, price? Also if anyone knows of someone with a boat they are looking to sell we are looking. Looking for something in the 12-16 thousand range. Thanks a lot, afull

Member Posts: 139 | There a few 18' IFS used (walk thru windshield) out there, You'll have to do some looking. There is an IFS model on the '08 1800 Pro-V's. I have an '03 18' dual console with the bubble windshields and wish I'd gone with the IFS. That's the only thing I'd change on the boat - fantastic fishing platform. Good luck in Your search, C-man

Member Posts: 192 | I had a 2004 Lund 1800 Pro V. It was a great boat. It rode pretty good in most weather. I looked into having it converted into a full windshield in 2005. As of then, they could not do it. I don't believe they ever made the 1775 in a full windshield. I used to have one of these as well. With a 150 merc, it was VERY fast for a 17ft boat. It was definatley rougher riding than the 1800 though. If you find an affordable 1800, I would go that route vs. the 1775. Feel free to shoot me anymore questions. Mark

New User Posts: 2 Location: NW Iowa | I didn't think they made the 1775 with a windshield, but thought it was worth asking. So the IFS is the full windshield version of the Pro V? What does that stand for. We had a 1999 1800 Pro V picked out for 12,500 and the saturday we were going to go take a look we got on the net and saw it was dropped to 11,500, we called and it was sold!! We missed one there! Dad wants a full windshield and so do I, but this boat was in great shape and had everything on it. What would be a decent price for 1998-2002 Pro V, good sized motor (100+), and the accesories?

New User Posts: 1 | 060408 I have a 2004 Pro V 1800 IFS w/ full windshield and full canvas top, side and rear enclosures. 2005 four-stroke 9.9 Mercury kicker with electric start, trim & tilt, and full remote controls (I can do everything with the 9.9 without leaving my driver's seat!) 2006 Mercury 150 Optimax. LOTS of "extras". Tandem-axle trailer w/ surge brakes. Always stored in a rental unit. One water 3 times in 2005, 3 in 2006, and 3 in 2007. Ergo, not many hours on the boat or either motor... I've owned 4 lunds: 16' Mr. Pike; 19' Tyee; Pro V 1850, and this boat. This boat is by far the best. Stable,-- very stable. It will be with me for a week on Kabetogama starting this Saturday. Then, I'll be selling it due to cancer... Oh well,-- I've truly enjoyed the "bonus days" I've been allowed. If you have an interest, send me you e-mail address and I'll send you some pictures. I'm in Central Iowa. My e-mail address is: [email protected]. Fish often! Attachments ---------------- DSCN2933.JPG (93KB - 3216 downloads)
