Hey Butch,

Actually, I was able to give her a good test in some rough conditions. I am pleased to report the ride was smooth and true. The G3 performed well, and was a pleasure to handle on the Detroit River while jigging. This is where the advantage of the smaller craft came in handy. At 18'5", it was easier to handle for boat control while jigging and rigging. I also experienced some true 3-4 footers one day and she rode them well. With the 200 hp Yamaha HPDI on the back, she gets out of the hole fast and tops out at around 57 mph at WOT with 5900 rpms. I'm looking forward to taking her out on Green Bay and seeing how she handles bigger, rougher conditions.

cuz it's registered in ND?

I don't think that is jerry. I'm sure there are 4 or 5 Team G3 boats.

A little off topic BUT you can register a boat in any state. You do not have to live in that state to register the boat. It is actually common for touring Pro's to register a boat in the state they get it from. I know people who live in IL. and register their boat in Wisconsin. They save money by doing this.

There are seven guys on the Team G3 National Walleye Team. I believe that one was Lamarr Van Dame's boat. He is the promotional team leader for G3 Boats. Each of the seven guys have the fully wrapped Team G3 boat.
