Incredible, what a differnce between this boat and my last boat.

Went down to pool4/Pepin today and the wind was howling out of the s/sw coming up Pepin, the last time I did this in my Mr Pike I was soaked and beat up.

Well I launched at Colvill and went to do some trolling at the head of he lakes, I thought I would take a spin down to Point/No point and it was rolling, this boat rides SMOOTH and dry and I was moving pretty good, my son was with and he was amazed, no rain suit needed.

Went and opened it up on the river coming out of the no wake in Red Wing, there was one of those hot shot cigerette boats paralling me, I cranked up th OPTI, and trimmed it out 59 mph up stream, he had all he could do to pass me.

By the way no walleye smell in the boat today, just a lowly sheephead

Very nice, Kirt!

I like the position of the rear seat in the center for operating the kicker. I may have to remember that. We'll get together later this winter, and get after those Red Wing eyes!

Moreyes,I'm in a 1760sc now and considering an 1890.I'm curious as to how much the full w/s affects boat control under windy conditions. Also, when you run,do you set up straight and look through the w/s or have to duck to look though it or lift and look over it? I'm 6'2" my partner is 6'5".

Yes it works great there, you can walk in between the seats and use the livewell and put your feet up and drive the kicker

I have to find em first, it is a walleye boat not a sheephead boat

The windsheild I guess is about eye level you can look under the top rail and look over either way, I am 6'1". I doesnt bother me at all, I ride sleds and that is the way it is on them. I will take that over the wind and cold.

Boat control it seems to about the same as my Mr Pike s/c
