I have been watching this site for a while! Thought I might as well jump on board. A little about myself. I was raised on the Mississippi for the first 20 years of my life and my Dad (gone now) was a commercial river fisherman in the 50's and 60's out of the little town of Canton Missouri L&D#21. I am displaced now but, I fish the river as much as possible. I fish pools 2 thru 7 mostly and of course I go "UPNORT" also. Hope to share info !!!

Hi Smitty! Have you been out on pool 5 yet? Ive been out once and caught a couple eyes on pool 8 throwing hair jigs from shore. I had to sell my boat so I guess I will be hoofing it this year. Going to have to go old school!

Welcome to Walleye First.

Welcome richardsmith. Pool 7 was my stomping grounds for quite a while. If I can help you out, just let me know.
I'm going to attach a pic of a couple of pool 7 November piggies that I caught a few years back I just never seem to have enough time to get up that way anymore. Now I'm mostly a 9 & 10 guy. Like it would take alot of effort to drive up to 7...... shame on me.
