Location: Rhinelander | A cold front moved through the area last night bringing cool morning temps, clear skies, and the promise of strong north winds. Most of the Top Ten felt the fish will go, but with a shortened day (they left at 6:30 and return at 2:30) and the front, there's some feeling the weights will be off today. Techniques range from Willow cats to lead core to jigging to pulling Lindy rigs, so as has been the case all week, all techniques are in play. The weigh in will begin around 3:30 this afternoon at the Wal Mart in red WIng. Stay with us at WalleyeFIRST for continuing coverage of the FLW Walleye Tour, brought to you by our friends at Lund Boats! Attachments ---------------- ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()

Location: Rhinelander | The bite was definitely off some today, as many of the weights form the top ten were light at least one fish. It didn't matter if the Pro hit the river or the lake, the big fish were somewhat uncooperative, and those who did contact a good fish had a hard time keeping it pinned up Ted Takasaki did exactly as he said he would in his morning interview, and boated a limit, which was more than enough to hold off the rest of the field by at least 13 pounds. Ted caught his fish using several presentations. His most successful were lead core trolling cranks and Lindy Rigging. He was extremely happy with the win, saying ,"It's been a long time!" Member Posts: 625 Location: LaCrosse, WI | Ted has been hotter than a $2 pistol this year, and I couldn't be happier for him. He's one of the true class acts in the game, and one of the best sticks to ever fish a Walleye event. Keep up the pace Ted, a 2nd and a 1st is great for any one year, but to do it in the first two events sets the bar pretty high.

Member Posts: 538 | Steve, I am having trouble viewing the latest videos from Red Wing. I was able to view an older one with Dustin K, but not the latest ones. Any ideas? Thanks, Jim O

you need to upgrade to the latest version of flash. If you don't have it you should be prompted to install.
